Named to BusinessWeek's Top 100 Hot Growth Companies ListKALAMAZOO, Michigan, June 1, 2000--Manatron, Inc. (Nasdaq:MANA) today announced that it was ranked 83 among the Top 100 Hot Growth Companies for 2000, a list published in the May 29 issue of BusinessWeek magazine. The list, which ranked companies with annual sales between $25 million and $500 million on three-year sales and earnings growth and return on capital, included such companies as Vitesse Semiconductor, Network Solutions, Martha Stewart Living, Skechers U.S.A, and Gentex. "Manatron's distinction as a hot growth company is the result of the hard work and dedication of our employees and reinvestment into our product and people," said Paul Sylvester, Manatron's President and Chief Executive Officer. "Future growth primarily will stem from the sale and implementation of our GovernMax division's WebConnect suite, which is our Internet software for local governments, and our new MVP Tax system." Over the past three years, on average, Manatron's earnings advanced 138 percent on 28 percent revenue growth and its return on capital averaged 14 percent during the same period. For the first nine months of fiscal 2000, Manatron's earnings have increased 60 percent on 23 percent revenue growth over the prior year period.
